Yeah, i know we born in the new era we live in the computer age were most people probably knows about Internet and computer especially here in the US. Internet is so handy in sharing photos with friends and relatives. Most of us probably fond of a net working sites like i am but people probably heard news rumors that some people fired from their jobs because of their hidden behaviors especially working in a decent place and i don't know probably not applicable on the company and company find it out at the net working sites. Yeah, everybody has their rights and freedom to express themselves. So, i want you guys to check this out and i just read this today too. Before you upload pictures in the Internet be sure to think twice in case after few minutes, few days few months or few years you want to delete it cause you just realized that it is pretty awful.



No such thing as "deleted" on the Internet


It's always fun to write about research that you can actually try out for yourself.

Try this: Take a photo and upload it to Facebook, then after a day or so, note what the URL to the picture is (the actual photo, not the page on which the photo resides), and then delete it. Come back a month later and see if the link works. Chances are: It will.

Facebook isn't alone here. Researchers at Cambridge University (so you know this is legit, people!) have found that nearly half of the social networking sites don't immediately delete pictures when a user requests they be removed. In general, photo-centric websites like Flickr were found to be better at quickly removing deleted photos upon request.

Why do "deleted" photos stick around so long? The problem relates to the way data is stored on large websites: While your personal computer only keeps one copy of a file, large-scale services like Facebook rely on what are called content delivery networks to manage data and distribution. It's a complex system wherein data is copied to multiple intermediate devices, usually to speed up access to files when millions of people are trying to access the service simultaneously. (Yahoo! Tech is served by dozens of servers, for example.) But because changes aren't reflected across the CDN immediately, ghost copies of files tend to linger for days or weeks.

In the case of Facebook, the company says data may hang around until the URL in question is reused, which is usually "after a short period of time." Though obviously that time can vary considerably.

Of course, once a photo escapes from the walled garden of a social network like Facebook, the chances of deleting it permanently fall even further. Google's caching system is remarkably efficient at archiving copies of web content, long after it's removed from the web. Anyone who's ever used Google Image Search can likely tell you a story about clicking on a thumbnail image, only to find that the image has been deleted from the website in question -- yet the thumbnail remains on Google for months. And then there are services like the Wayback Machine, which copy entire websites for posterity, archiving data and pictures forever.

The lesson: Those drunken party photos you don't want people to see? Simply don't upload them to the web, ever, because trying to delete them after you sober up is a tough proposition.

Mexico. Thousands of would-be tourists from America and elsewhere had to cancel spring break trips to Mexico due to ongoing violence related to the drug trade. Mexico was the second country recently identified by the U.S. Joint Forces Command as possibly poised for a "rapid and sudden" collapse. Mexico's "politicians, police, and judicial infrastructure are all under sustained assault and pressure by criminal gangs and drug cartels," says the report.

The violence and tourism decline could not come at a worse time. Economists predict a 3.3 percent contraction of the Mexican economy this year. The poor economic growth means that the government is getting strapped for funds. In April, it asked the International Monetary Fund for a $47 billion loan. While credit-rating agencies don't expect Mexico's debt to grow riskier soon, and the risk of its sovereign derivatives has not skyrocketed like some other countries on this list, serious problems still remain for the Mexican economy. The country depends on the United States to consume its exports and pay Mexican immigrants who send money back home. If the U.S. recession deepens, Mexicans will feel the pain as much as Americans.

Pakistan. The country has already almost gone bankrupt once in the past six months. In October, only an emergency $10 billion in support from the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and others prevented Pakistan from defaulting on its debt. During that crisis, the cost of insurance on Pakistan's debt exploded. Even though the situation has calmed since then, investors are not getting comfortable with Pakistan. It still costs $2.2 million a year to insure $10 million of Pakistan's sovereign bonds.

The economic situation isn't all bad. The Asia Development Bank recently predicted that Pakistan's economy will grow 4 percent in the next fiscal year beginning in July, compared to 2.5 percent growth estimated this year. But the wild card that could change everything is the country's political situation. Pakistan is one of the most unstable countries in the world. On April 13, White House counterterrorism consultant David Kilcullen said that a political collapse in Pakistan could come within months. A 2008 report from the U.S. Joint Forces Command identified Pakistan as a country at risk of a "rapid and sudden collapse," one that would create a devastating security problem for the world. The report says that "the collapse of a state usually comes as a surprise." Anyone banking their money on Pakistan's economic growth might not know what hit them.

Ukraine. While Iceland may have suffered the worst financial collapse of the global recession, Ukraine has also received a dubious honor: It had the priciest sovereign credit-default swaps for the first quarter of the year. It currently costs about $3.9 million to insure $10 million of Ukrainian five-year sovereign bonds. A year ago it cost just under $3,000. S&P rates them CCC--the seventh-best (out of eleven) rating, indicating that Ukraine is vulnerable to nonpayment.

As the government tries to solve the crisis, Ukrainians are getting squeezed. Kiev, one of the oldest capitals in Europe, has had to shut down free clinics, schools, and increase public transportation costs in order to close a deficit. The Institute for Economic Research and Consulting is forecasting a GDP contraction of 12 percent. The Ukrainian stock market has fallen 25 percent so far this year. The Ukrainian currency, the hyrvnia, is also plummeting, falling 35 percent against the dollar in the last six months. The Ukrainian government's efforts to shore up the currency, including setting a floor for which the hryvnia can be traded, have so far been in vain.

Venezuela. Hugo Chavez has inextricably tied the Venezuelan economy to oil, and that didn't look so bad before the financial crisis. Oil profits helped deliver massive economic growth, so much that 4.8 percent growth in 2008 was seen as a disappointment. But with oil prices having plunged due to the global slowdown, the fortunes for Chavez's strategy have changed. Many economists are predicting negative growth for Venezuela this year, such as the 4 percent drop predicted by Morgan Stanley.

From June to September, the cost for an investor to buy insurance against Venezuela's debt almost doubled. Right now, to protect $10 million in Venezuelan sovereign bonds against default, an investor would need to spend $1.8 million each year. S&P gives Venezuela's sovereign bonds a BB rating, meaning Venezuela faces "major ongoing uncertainties" that could lead to "inadequate capacity" to meet its obligations. S&P also has a negative outlook for the bond rating, meaning it could decline in the next six months to two years.

Argentina. The Argentine economy is notorious for its boom and busts. The country last defaulted on its debt in 2002, but enjoyed economic improvements through most of this decade. During that last financial crisis, citizens staged protests known as cacerolazos, which means "banging of pots and pans," but the demonstrations resulted in broken windows and fires. Argentina has not seen that kind of violence stemming from the current financial crisis yet, but foreign investors are worried the economy is back to "bust" mode. CMS Datavision ranks Argentina as having the third most expensive credit derivatives in the world. Right now, Markit composite prices show an annual cost of $3.2 million for an investor to buy protection against $10 million of Argentina's sovereign debt. Moody's rates Argentina's sovereign bonds as B3, meaning a high, speculative credit risk, and S&P as B-, meaning that more bad economic news for Argentina could lead to default. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development gives Argentina a seven, its riskiest classification rating.

Five Countries to Keep An Eye On

Latvia. Iceland isn't the only country that's seen massive protests against economic hardship. In January, a 10,000-strong demonstration in Latvia's capital, Riga, turned into a riot. Tremendous economic growth since the end of the Cold War earned Latvia its place as one of the "Baltic Tigers." GDP growth was 11.2 percent in 2006, for instance. But Latvia's Ministry of Finance forecasts a 14.9 percent drop in GDP this year. Latvia is getting a $7.5 billion emergency loan from the IMF, but the organization is sitting on part of the money because of the Latvian government's failures thus far to reform its budget. The past two years have seen the cost of Latvia's credit default swaps increase over one-hundred fold. Moody's rates Latvia's bonds as Baa1, or "moderate" credit risks, and projects that they could become riskier bets in the medium term.

Croatia. The country's beaches on the Adriatic Sea draw so many visitors that tourism is almost 20 percent of the country's GDP. But since the recession is taking a bite out of travelers' pocketbooks, Croatia's economy is getting bitten as well. The government forecasts unemployment could rise as high as 12 percent this year. And a recent poll found that 78 percent of Croatians think the country is going in a bad direction, with unemployment cited as the primary reason. All this bad economic news might be one of the reasons S&P projects a possible rating decline for Croatia's BBB-rated bonds. The BBB rating means that Croatia does not have payment problems yet, but are in a position where their ability to pay for debt could be easily weakened.

Kazakhstan. While the Central Asian nation's GDP has grown in recent years, Kazakhstan has two problems that have created the potential for economic disaster: a reliance on foreign lending and a reliance on oil. Kazakhstan holds 3.2 percent of world's oil reserves. But the soaring oil prices that have boosted Kazakhstan's economy are no more, and investors have pulled money out of Kazakhstan in response. The cost of buying protection against Kazakhstan's debt has skyrocketed about 75 percent during the past year. The cost is back up to a peak reached in October, and it currently costs $875,000 a year to insure $10 million of Kazakhstan's debt. S&P has a negative outlook on Kazakhstan's BBB-rated sovereign bonds, meaning they could get riskier in the next six months to two years.

Vietnam. Unlike many of the other countries on this list, Vietnam has had some good news recently. The Asian Development Bank forecasted Vietnam's economic growth at 4.5 percent for the next year, the highest in Southeast Asia. Yet the country just registered its slowest economic growth in a decade. A survey found that 46 percent of Vietnamese were afraid of unemployment in January, up from 9 percent in September. Both Moody's and S&P have a negative outlook for Vietnam's sovereign bonds. The price of its sovereign derivatives has almost doubled in the past year. Vietnam falls into the riskiest of the five tiers as rated by AM Best. In particular, the firm identifies Vietnam's financial system, plagued by "relatively poor infrastructure and cumbersome bureaucracy," as "very high" risk.

Belarus. Minsk, the capital of Belarus, was mostly destroyed during World War II and much of the city was rebuilt in the form of hulking, utilitarian, Soviet-style buildings. Belarus also retains a heavy Soviet influence in its financial system--all but one of the country's 31 banks is controlled by the state, according to AM Best. Because of Belarus's failure to reform its financial system, the firm gives the country its highest score for financial risk. Even though Belarus scores relatively well for political stability, that economic rating is enough to push it into the riskiest of the report's classifications.

Belarus's problems aren't just speculative. Although its economy is still growing, the IMF expects it will expand 1.4 percent this year, compared to 10 percent last year.The country's government has also been approved for a $2.46 billion IMF loan. But the IMF now forecasts that the country will need a further $10.7 billion in 2009. Still, other experts disagree about just how fragile Belarus's economy is. Its bonds are rated as B1 from Moody's, meaning high credit risk but also at the top of the pack of the high-risk countries.

Cincinnati - Chili Capital
Cincinnati, Ohio, doesn’t serve up the Tex-Mex chili most are used to, but surely has the most chili restaurants of any city in the United States. Created in the 1920s by immigrant restaurateurs, Cincinnati chili has more in common with a Mediterranean stew, its beef spiced more with cumin and cinnamon than chile peppers. You get it two-way (over spaghetti), three-way (over spaghetti with cheese), four-way (over spaghetti with cheese and beans or onions) or five-way (over spaghetti with cheese, onions, and beans). Empress Chili was the progenitor, but the Goldstar and Skyline chains are the largest, each with dozens of outlets in Cincinnati and elsewhere. Skyline met with such success that it went public in 1986 and was bought up by Fleet Equity Partners in the late 1990s. Of course, the city’s healthy appetite for its beloved creation fosters a trove of independent eateries, still serving it whatever way you like.

San Francisco – Burrito Capital

Gainesville, Ga. - Poultry Capital of the World
In Georgia, the General Assembly declared the whole state the Poultry Capital of the World in 1995. A slew of data backs up the claim—or at least the claim of the entire Southeast U.S. —and Georgia is an enormous producer of the broilers that we all devour. But in 1977, Gainesville, Ga., beat its parent to the punch, asserting that the town itself, a center of poultry production, was in fact the Poultry Capital of the World. See for yourself in the Georgia Poultry Park in downtown Gainesville, where you’ll find the chicken monument—a twenty-five foot high marble statue, topped with a three-foot rooster, with information about the poultry industry decorating its base.

Mendota, Ill. – Corn Capital
Beauty pageants occupy a strange place in the American landscape. Some people find Miss America, Miss USA and their ilk offensive, but in some towns, beauty pageants are an adorably retro centerpiece of the harvest festivities. Halfway between Chicago and Davenport, Iowa, the town of Mendota, Ill., has offered its Sweet Corn Festival since 1948, bringing under one umbrella festivities that have taken place in a variety of forms for nearly one hundred years. Today, they draw about 60,000 people who eat fifty to sixty tons of sweet corn (from Del Monte, which maintains a major operation there) over one weekend in August, and award a local high school girl the title of Miss Sweet Corn Queen amidst the craft dealers, live bands and carnival.

Gilroy, Calif. – Garlic Capital of the World
For those unafraid of garlic breath, take a trip to Gilroy, Calif., at the end of July. One of the largest harvest festivals in the country, Gilroy—laying claim to the title of Garlic Capital of the World—serves up two tons of garlic in a wide range of dishes including garlic ice cream, of all things. Since its inception in 1979 as a charitable event, the Gilroy Garlic Festival has raised over $8 million for nonprofit organizations in the area, and attracts over 100,000 visitors to its celebratory weekend—including a handful of young women from the region, who can breathe a bit more easily (if not less garlicky) when they announce who has captured the tiara of Miss Gilroy Garlic Queen.

More corn capitals?
Speaking of corn, it should surprise no one that America’s heartland is home to a couple of contenders for Corn Capital. Olivia, Minn., lays claim to the throne as a center of production and agricultural research (including agri-giants Monsanto and BASF) and has been designated as such by the Minnesota State Senate. There’s a 25-foot tall ear of corn that tops a gazebo in its Memorial Park to prove it. The Corn Capital Days celebration, featuring not only a corn toss, but also the Corn-lympics, pops off at the end of July.
But Mitchell, S.D., is no slouch—it’s celebrated the cereal grain we all know and love since 1892 with the Mitchell Corn Palace. Twice, the Corn Palace outgrew its homes, and its third incarnation, completed in 1921, is the one we know today. Both its façade and internal walls of the Palace’s auditorium feature murals made entirely of corn kernels, celebrating an annually changing theme. If you’re in South Dakota at the end of August, you can check out the “Everyday Heroes” display for yourself at the yearly Corn Palace Festival.

Blueberry Capital(s) of the World
In 1984, Ronald Reagan lent credence to Hammonton, N.J.’s claim to being Blueberry Capital of the World, by, well, calling it that in a campaign speech as he ran for re-election. But Hammonton does have a legit claim, with soil perfectly suited to cultivating New Jersey’s state fruit. And with a festival that the former President would have loved—the Red, White, and Blueberry Festival—now entering its 22nd year, it’s not likely they’d give up the title any time soon. But wait! Portland, Oregon has a festival of the same name! And South Haven, Mich., plays host to the National Blueberry Festival, featuring tribute bands and a cook-off that in 2007 featured delectable treats like a Blueberry Crème ‘Blue’ Lee and Blueberry Ginger Dressing Sauce. I’m not sure who wins the blueberry throwdown, but it’s sure to be messy.

Internet Explorer Security Alert

When i heard about the news, of course i get alarmed as an Internet Explorer user. In the meanwhile i am temporarily using FireFox at this moment. It's hard to have a virus in the computer, driving me crazy and if it's not fixable or hard to fix, I'm gonna lost all my files and start over again buy replacing the hard drive. But this time scary hackers are everywhere so it's nice to be safe.
This is the 1st news that i heard:

"The major press outlets are abuzz this morning with news of a major new security flaw that affects all versions of Internet Explorer from IE5 to the latest beta of IE8. The attack has serious and far-reaching ramifications -- and they're not just theoretical attacks. In fact, the flaw is already in wide use as a tool to steal online game passwords, with some 10,000 websites infected with the code needed to take advantage of the hole in IE.

Virtually all security experts (as well as myself) are counseling users to switch to any other web browser -- none of the others are affected, including Firefox, Chrome, and Opera -- at least for the time being, though Microsoft has stubbornly said it "cannot recommend people switch due to this one flaw." Microsoft adds that it is working on a fix but has offered no ETA on when that might happen. Meanwhile it offers some suggestions for a temporary patch, including setting your Internet security zone settings to "high" and offering some complicated workarounds. (Some reports state, however, that the fixes do not actually work.)

Expedient patching or switching are essential. Security pros fear that the attack will soon spread beyond the theft of gaming passwords and into more criminal arenas, as the malicious code can be placed on any website and can be adapted to steal any password stored or entered using the browser. It's now down to the issue of time: Will Microsoft repair the problem and distribute a patch quickly enough to head off the tsunami of fraud that's about to hit or will it come too late to do any good?

Meanwhile, I'll reiterate my recommendation: Switch from Internet Explorer as soon as you can. You can always switch back once the threat is eliminated."

Microsoft is rushing out a software 'patch' at 6pm this evening to fix the problem. But how can you protect your computer in the meantime? Our technical expert, Rick Maybury, offers his top tips for ensuring your machine stays safe and secure:

• Don't panic! Althought the security flaw is a serious one, it has been identified and is about to be resolved. The majority of affected sites are in the Far East, and the Microsoft patch will be automatically downloaded to millions of computers over the next day or so, although we recommend installing it as soon as it's available – you can get it from http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ .
• Download a temporary fix released by security company Prevx: http://www.prevx.com/ie7.asp. This disables the vulnerable file (oledb32.dll), and will also restore it when the fuss dies down.
• Alternatively, increase the security level in Internet Explorer by going to Tools > Internet Options > Security. Click the Custom Level button and select 'High' on the Reset Custom Settings drop down menu.
• Switch to another browser for the duration. Secure alternatives include Firefox, Google Chrome , Apple Safari and Opera. They are all free and run alongside Internet Explorer without any problems.
• Avoid visiting Far Eastern websites, or sites carrying pornographic content.
• Make sure your security software is set to update automatically.
• If you absolutely must use Internet Explorer and visit risky sites then do not click on any unexpected popup boxes. If one appears close the program immediately by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete, (in Vista select Task Manager), select the browser on the list and click End Task.

Gas Dropping

The economic crisis pulls down the price of gas. The last time i saw tonight is $1.88... well at least on this one it gives me a break. Seems the demand of gas is low, probably people starts commuting or rides bicycle to work instead of cars just to save or probably some people returned their cars cause nothing to pay for their monthly payments might be loses their job. So tight economy hope and pray it will pass pretty soon cause everybody gets affected.

The Dumbest Stupidest Things To Do

We just got back from our trip about 3:00PM and of course after a minute of relaxing is to check my mails. This one caught on my attention cause it's so dumb and stupid. This one of those chain letters and i usually ignore this kind but not this one. I don't care if it's true or not but for me this is so dumb and stupid things to do.

Read this:
Girl: Hey
Boy: What?
Girl: I really like you. And I... I think I'm falling in love with you.
Boy: Ok...
Girl: What do you mean "ok"?
Boy: I don't like you like that...
Girl: Why not?
Boy: I can't tell you... maybe another time...
From then on, the girl kept asking the boy "Why not?" whenever she saw him, and he kept answering the same answer of "I'll tell you later."
Finally the girl got fed up.
Girl: I'm tired of this! Tell me why you don't like me!
Boy: Do you really wanna know why?
Girl: Yes!
Boy: It's because you're uglier than freak! What's the point of going out with someone when they're not pretty?!

Mom: Honey? Are you alright?
She opened the door and was shocked at the site. The bath was overflowing onto the floor, and the water was tinted red. She walked over to see what was inside and screamed.
There, her little girl was lying with cuts all over her face and wrists.
Her Mom backed away and was going to run to call the police when something caught her eye.
On the mirror were these words written in blood: "Am I pretty enough now?"

OH girl don't be like this... God made us special, we might not be perfectly made physically as what people think about perfectly beautiful but i believed that God didn't look on it as ugly or not well formed. He is just creating the uniqueness of each and everyone. Don't let other people manipulates you just because they think there is something not right based on what they see, hear or feel. Just remember you are unique and beautiful in you own way and God made you special, it's up to you to develop it. Don't ever end up like that girl cause that's the dumbest and stupidest things to do.
It happens to me before, (not the same situation above) the discrimination of appearance. I am not good looking or pretty as what we say. In our place were i grew up, who ever is rich or good looking is always in attention and judge people based on the status of life as rich, middle class and poor and most of the time there is always a gap and poor are always left behind. Good looking are always gets the attention and yeah i am always left behind even in my group of friends. It hurts really but i don't let it ruin my life. I aways think myself as a unique and i am beautiful in my own way and i don't care what other people says. I don't let them manipulates me i find them as a challenge.

Earning to occupy my time
